Zamberlan Boot Technology



The unique GORE-TEX® Bootee construction is based on lamination between the upper and the GORE-TEX® membrane to take advantage of its waterproof and breathable features. Trustability of GTX® lining and the constructive system guarantee resistance, comfort and long time protection.

A very traditional and extremely resistant construction method, which requires great skill and experience to be executed. It features two lines of stitching: the first fixes the upper to the midsole (which is specifically designed for this use), the second fixes the upper to the insole which will later be glued to the sole.

10. 3 mm PU sheet to enhance insulation, flexion and structure.
11. Dual density PU wedge. It is shorter to allow a thicker rubber outer-sole toe area.
12. Rubber outer-sole with thicker toe zone to ensure better glueing and wear resistance.
13. Vibram® rubber outer-sole with structured tread pattern and multi-directional lugs.


Technical and performing line deriving from deep studies on morphology and anatomy of foot. Maximize ergonomics and wrapping to guarantee top level performance in every condition.

1.Tubular construction upper.
2.Roughened, sticky rubber rand for maximum protection on front and side zones.
3. Special roughened, sticky rubber rand to help total foot wrapping.
4. Roughened, sticky rubber rand to wrap and enclose as a shell the whole upper.
5. Vibram® XS Grip sole: special climbing compound that offers the best combination of adherence and grip.
6. Climbing shoe internal view: the tubular construction consists of assembling of the upper in a whole piece, as if it were a sock.

1. Stitched upper.
2. Sole-shaped felt board applied by a Ströbel slip last stitching.
3. Inside light weight anatomical stabilizer to grant torsional stability and to allow passage of PU to bond sole to upper.
4. Upper and anatomical stabilizer are inserted into an open mould for injection process.
5.Injected PU wedge to bond sole to upper and provide shock absorption.
6. Injection points through which liquid PU will spread all over the mould.
7. Vibram® rubber pre-moulded outer-sole is placed on the bottom of the mould.
